Pizza & Pottery painting in Port Elizabeth

A windy day in Port Elizabeth? Go explore the Baakens Valley...

Last week I was invited to a lunch at Remos in Baakens Valley and we did ceramic painting while lunching. I'm delighted to have found this gem! Monique from Angel Wings is a star in guiding a novice artist like myself. I started colouring the background of my piece in hues of green and blue while having a cuppaccino. The process was so therapeutic, and the chit chat around the table was delightful. Some were doing bold bright pieces, others intricate detail and all thoroughly enjoying the experience. This is when it dawned that maybe I should start telling the world about these wonderful experiences I discover in South Africa. The food from Remo's is outstanding and the wine was good too. It is advisable to walk around the complex and see the other creators in the Werk Studio. You can also drop the kids off at Valley Crag for a bit of indoor climbing while you relax in your creative space. About 2 weeks after you have created your masterpiece, you will be contacted to let you know it is ready for collection. This is definitely worth a try!
